Burning of cars while driving isn't a new news for many of us , there are many incidents reported each year of cars causing fire while driving and resulted in deaths also in few cases.why is car safety important?

Such  incidents are a reason for all of us to worry as it can happen with anyone handling their vehicles carelessly and compromising on safety .

Maintenance is a important aspect of any car and has to be done at frequent intervals as prescribed by the company in the car manual .Also one major point to be considered is the service of the vehicle should be done at the car showroom or by a trained technicians . The coolant of the car should also be changed at regular intervals inorder to protect the engine from overheating .

     

Cheap modifications.

People often tend to buy base variant of their favourite cars and modify it to look like the top models and incur huge cost on the modification. Any aftermarket modification to car must be carried by a trained technicians having gud knowledge of the mods and fittings. It's been advised to use high-quality wiring and accessories in the cars of gud and trustworthy brands .

Many times loose wiring and fittings in the mods can result in sparks and short circuit resulting in damages and even fire to car.

Few years back in Mumbai after a large no of car fire accidents investigation found that some of the cars catching fire have been damaged by rodents particularly rats .It was found that the rubber insulation provided at the connection of electrical fittings in cars to avoid sparks was damaged by the rats .

This rubber and certain plastics is most likely to get damaged by the rats , it should be made sure that the parking place should not have rats around as it can damage the car resulting in fire and also complete breakdown of car .
