Nissan has recently shown the pricelist of its new SUV Magnite which starts from 4.99 lac and goes up to 9.97lac exshowroom .

Here we are going to review the XE model of Magnite and see what will a customer get in  the base model of this SUV .

Front

The heaxagonal grill will be have chrome inserts and have same shape like the top model with different chrome design inside.

Drls has been replaced with chrome insert in the base model , the fog lamps also absent on this ,the headlights are halogen bulbs instead of full leds on higher variants .

Side profile

From the side it gets turn indicator on the body and Steel alloy wheels 16 inch along with black body cladding on the wheel arch running along the end .The gud part is the door handles with are in  chrome unlike the black colour handle in other cars base variant .The ORVM are black colour without turn indicator .The Body Pillars are black coloured.

Rear

The rear end misses out the silver bumper design like the top model .The rear gets parking sensors and also get rear led taillights, washer, rear spoiler,antenna , led high mount stop lamp  and defogger which is a gud add on for this price range .Also it gets roof rails with 60kg load capacity .


Interior

The interior is dual colour beige and black combination ,The ORVM are manually controlled , AC vents looks gud in round nob design and manually controlled, it does not get the led infortainment system which one has to get fitted from market as accessories. The steering comes in dual colour with silver finish though misses out the control buttons.


Inside

The instrument cluster is same as on the Renault Triber ,the rear seats get adjustable rear headrests which is a gud add-on .Also the rear space is enough for 3 occupants.

The boot space is 336 litres .

The base model is only available in one litre naturally aspirated petrol engine offering 72 bhp power and 96NM torque. The mileage figure as per Arai is 18.75 kmpl .The power might be seem to be less but considering the weight of this vehicle it offers decent performance.

These prices are introductory and will be raised in the coming months .

Verdict .

The Nissan Magnite base model XE  is a gud option with some exciting first in segment features. At this price of 4.99 lac exshowroom it's a gud option for every buyer for daily family use it won't disappoint it's buyer .With a few bucks more one can get the after market accessories and customise their car according to their taste .
