New car assessment program which could be said that was originally started in US as a part of offering car safety worthiness to its customers since then it evolved as an institution to test car safety for the cars in US Known as US-NCAP . After this many countries develop their own apex crash safety testing institution like Euro-NCAP ,China - NCAP , Korean-NCAP etc .
Global NCAP is an independent body registered in UK which provides safety reports of the cars in developing markets such as India and Africa.
#safercars for India is also a campaign run India by the Global NCAP and testing cars in the Indian market. Mahindra Thar, been the latest tested vehicle in India .

The car has dummies placed inside with monitoring system attached to them in order to record the force and damages that occur to the dummies .
Based on the Results, car assessment in done and figures are matched with the safety standards , every car is awarded stars out of 5 based on Adult occupants safety , child safety and body shell integrity .Each crash test video is uploaded on the Global NCAP website for everyone to see them . Being at independent institute there are less chances of any manipulation in reports and people can trust them .The question arises now is Which car is best in India for safety?
