Tata Safari Review, Price and specifications.

 

Tata Safari 2021 

One of the most known SUV that ruled  in the Indian market was Tata's Safari . Since it's launch in 1998 ,till date we can see Safari running on roads . Tata has launched the new gen Safari in all new avatar , it's bookings will be open from 3 February 2021.

The front 

The front of the safari looks the same as the harrier the only distinctive character to identify it from the front is  the chrome grill and it's tri arrow pattern on the grill . The multi functional led Drls are there which also works as turn indicator . The headlight department gets split headlamp unit  with HID xenon lights and halogen bulbs, along with fog lamps.

Side profile

The side profile gets 18inch  wheels with alloys in grey finished colour. The safari has been elongated in design and has got a great road presence. The side black cladding also adds to its looks and are not as thick in other cars.

Rear .

The Safari gets a new rear end with dual exhaust design though it have one one and the spare wheel gets it place under the back of car . The backlight of the safari looks great and gets slope design , it gets two parking sensors on the back along with a rear parking camera and the safari badging on the back .

 Interior 

The interior of the safari will make U remember the interior of Tata harrier. The main difference is the 7 seats . The leg room on the second row is good and offers comfortable support , it also gets power socket for both the rear passenger. The third row is gud for kids and can also occupy passenger of normal physique .The thrid row  feels  airy because of the window and the big panaromic sunroof. The safari also gets the Boss mode which help the second row passenger to push forward the front seats of  the co passenger , to get plenty of legroom.

The Safari gets an 7 inch digital mid and  analogue instrument cluster, tilt and telescopic steering wheel with controls  , the infortainment system is a10.8 inch touchscreen with Android auto and Apple carplay along with IRA connectivity which help you to operate some function with voice commands. It gets 3 terrain response modes -rough mode , normal  mode and wet mode to take on any road . Safari also offers driving modes eco,city, sports to match various driving style , which we get in most of the Tata cars nowdays. Parking brake is now electronic and easy to use . The glovebox compartment is big enough , it gets the best music system 9 speaker JBL system if compared with its Competition. Safari also offers 6 way power adjustable driver seats , mood lighting and dual tone premium leather seats .There is also option of 6 seats and 7 seater options to opt from .

Engine.

Safari gets 168bhp 2.0 litre diesel engine  producing 350 Nm of torque, with 6 speed automatic and manual gearbox ,it  offers good drivability and punchy mid range performance.In terms of safety safari gets disc brakes on all wheel ,tyre pressure monitor, ABS with EBD, autohold , traction control, rollover mitigation and corner stability control.The top model also gets 6 airbags .

Verdict .

Tata Safari is a great vehicle to buy those who wanted an 7 seater option in harrier can definitely go for the safari. In terms of looks , driving dynamics and features it is an best vehicle to buy .

Tata Safari will be available in 6 variants- XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ  and  XZ+.

The price of the new Tata Safari ranges between Rs 14.74 - 21.25 lakhs.
